Course description:

    This degree gives you a solid grounding in mechanical engineering. It covers all the essentials with an emphasis on modelling and design. You'll be introduced to the role of engineering in business and management, and you'll complete an individual project in an area that interests you.

      All our students also take the Global Engineering Challenge. Working with students from other engineering courses, you'll have to find creative solutions to problems. The project looks at challenges faced by communities throughout the world. It's designed to develop you as a professional engineer and get you thinking about sustainable solutions.

      Depending on your performance, you may be able to switch to the M.Eng degree at the end of your third year.
